How tall is kevin durant wingspan
It would be short by at least 22 cms. The late pro-wrestler from France towered at 2. Pickup trucks are usually 1. Kawhi Leonard is a genetic freak. However, his wingspan is a mind-boggling 2. Nobody in the world would probably stand 6 foot 7 inches tall and have a 7-foot 3-inch wingspan. However, there have been instances of the big lizards reaching up to 2m in length.
Kevin Durant. His length has allowed him to excel against centers in the NBA when on defense. He more than holds his own as he continues to add strength, and that is very beneficial. The wingspan and overall length of Durant is mostly seen as a huge positive, but some feel like his proportions have also led to some injury issues that he has dealt with in his career.
There is no doubt that he put a lot of pressure on his body, and he has had some breakdowns in his legs. Not only has he had some foot issues, but he most recently tore his Achilles tendon and missed more than a year of play. Durant absolutely dominated at the high school and college level, but some people were wondering if he would translate to the NBA. Maybe the biggest knock on him was the fact that he was very skinny coming out of the University of Texas, and he was struggling to lift weights at the NBA Combine.
Many thought that he would be pushed around and not be able to hold up during a full NBA season. He is still very slender by most accounts, but he is listed at pounds. That is much different than when he was an amateur player, weighing in at just around pounds. The change in the NBA to a smaller league overall has helped Durant to a certain degree.
He is also able to create mismatch problems by being faster than most of his opposition, so the weight factor does not turn into that big of an issue. There are still times in his NBA career where it seems like Durant has struggled a little bit with weight and strength, but he has shown that it does not play too much of a factor.
He is never going to look too big based on the build of his body. Home NBA. SI Recommends. College Basketball. By Wilton Jackson.
