Kroil where to buy in canada

Thread Tools Show Printable Version. Has anyone used anything similar to good effect? I have looked a million places and no chance so far. John Deere dealers are supposed to sell it but the ones here never heard of it. Amazon has it listed. FALover, I tried many frozen bolt remedies when I was restoring old military vehicles. Some info from another forum that I found: Penetrating Oils Compared Machinist's Workshop magazine actually tested penetrants for break out torque on rusted nuts.

Significant results! They arranged a subjective test of all the popular penetrants with the control being the torque required to remove the nut from a "scientifically rusted" environment. Penetrating oil Average load None Note the "home brew" was better than any commercial product in this one particular test.

A local machinist group mixed up a batch and all now use it with equally good results. Ed's Red Bore Cleaner is also my goto stuff for gun cleaning after shooting.

Like the old lady on TV says 'I use that stuff on everything! Fast shipping and a fair price from Aircraft Spruce Canada. Im glad I found a Canadian shop to get this from, and the price was actually better than that well known online retailer of everything I have purchased this product for years. I had a blade on my mower deck that was impossible to break the nut loose even after heating with a torch and a 30 inch breaker bar.

I tried PB Blaster and every other penetrating oil I had with no success. My last resort was Kroil oil let it soak for about an hour. I went back and put my impact wrench on which I had tried many times before with no success and to my surprise it came right off. That is exactly why I ordered another can of Kroil Oil!!! My order was processed all in good order. Kroil is very good product compared to other oils. Not hard to use for not real offense odor and has many uses.

Bought this for my son, who is restoring a 67 Impala Im disappointed in this product. I am attempting to remove a stuck bearing which had been exposed to excessive moisture this product had been highly recommended to me by other mechanics yet after a week of allowing this oil to soak into the bearing it still wont budge. I should have followed my gut instinct and used a torch.

Im really disappointed because I spent a good deal of money to get this product and like millions of others, my funds are very limited at this time. Accepts Offers. Buy It Now. Item Location.
